Universal City, CA (May 21, 2007) Vivendi Visual Entertainment/First Independent Pictures will take viewers on a hilarious trip with the release of the slacker comedy Everything’s Gone Green on DVD July 31, 2007. Originally released theatrically in April 2007, Everything’s Gone Green stars Paulo Costanzo (Joey, Road Trip, 40 Days and 40 Nights) and Steph Song (upcoming Jet Li film War) and was written by acclaimed author Douglas Coupland, who not only wrote Generation X but also coined the term. The DVD is available in both rated and unrated versions. The unrated version includes additional bonus features with exclusive extended scenes and a special brownie recipe.
Everything’s Gone Green is the story of an uberslacker who is none the less willing to fall into accidental success after losing his job the same day he is dumped by his yuppie girlfriend. Dumped and fired, Ryan is experiencing the worst day of his life. Very down and out, Ryan stumbles onto a lucrative scam that he hopes will bring him the good life. In the midst of his misadventures he hilariously turns his luck around. Get ready to laugh uncontrollably as you follow Ryan’s rollercoaster life with its ups and downs.
