Review: Perfect Stranger

Perfect Stranger was released in 2007.
A journalist goes undercover as a worker for a man who is rumoured to kill someone. She creates several instant messenger accounts posing as her undercover name Catherine Pogue, and a woman he slept with in the past. After investigating him for a long while, he starts to get suspicious, even looking at her messages.
A standout thrill ride. It sucks you in for a what seems to be a average watch but what you get is a film not to be missed. It has twists and turn with scenes that will make you bite your nails with anguish. I have to admit i wasn’t expecting it to be as good as Gothika, but it stands just as high. The ending is one you wont forget, and one of the most wired scenes ive ever seen.
The plot is so well drawn out and is packed with dialogue that makes it interesting. The two main characters have such a background in the film, which you don’t see alot these days. This ploy isn’t to be ripped off or remade, it’s that great.
The acting is great with lead roles by Halle Berry, and Bruce Willis. They have so much chemistry in the film which makes you wonder why they haven’t done more films together. Smaller roles were well acted but Berry, and Willis are standouts.
Overall it is more thrilling than you’d expect. Some scenes will play in the back of your mind for a long while. My rating is 4/5
